The Toledo Housing Court was established to address housing-related matters with fairness, efficiency, and specialized expertise. Dedicated exclusively to housing issues within the City of Toledo, the court handles a wide range of cases including rental disputes, property maintenance, code enforcement, foreclosure prevention, and other matters affecting residential habitability and landlord-tenant relations.
A team of dedicated judges, magistrates, and court professionals trained in local housing law and community needs works collaboratively to ensure that all parties, including tenants, landlords, and homeowners, have access to the legal guidance, resources, and support they require.
Beyond case resolution, the Housing Court actively provides guidance, educational programs, and practical tools designed to foster respectful housing relationships, prevent disputes, and promote safe, healthy, and well-maintained housing throughout the Toledo community.

Parking & Directions
There is very limited metered street parking near the court building. The time permitted by meters ranges from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Most of the meters in the immediate vicinity permit only one hour of parking. Metered parking is $1.00 per hour. There is a pay parking garage across the street from the court and several pay parking lots in the general vicinity. Parking lot fees range from $1 for one-half hour to $5 for the day.
