The Toledo Housing Court was established to address housing-related matters with fairness, efficiency, and specialized expertise. Dedicated exclusively to housing issues within the City of Toledo, the court handles a wide range of cases including rental disputes, property maintenance, code enforcement, foreclosure prevention, and other matters affecting residential habitability and landlord-tenant relations.

A team of dedicated judges, magistrates, and court professionals trained in local housing law and community needs works collaboratively to ensure that all parties, including tenants, landlords, and homeowners, have access to the legal guidance, resources, and support they require.

Beyond case resolution, the Housing Court actively provides guidance, educational programs, and practical tools designed to foster respectful housing relationships, prevent disputes, and promote safe, healthy, and well-maintained housing throughout the Toledo community.

Through these services, the court works to maintain stable housing, improve neighborhood conditions, and ensure fair access to justice for every resident.
